Unfortunately, it appears that as of midnight EST, Oct. 1, NHL Network will no longer be available on U-verse TV because we will no longer have an acceptable agreement to carry the channel. We are always open to considering a fair and detailed proposal from NHL Network.

NEW YORK, Sept. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Abundance Foundation is responding to the crisis in the Horn of Africa by strengthening sustainable food systems through a grant of $50,000 and pledge of an additional $50,000 as a 1:1 challenge grant for the FEED Africa Emergency Fund. This project is conducted in partnership with the FEED Foundation, whose co-founder, Lauren Bush Lauren explains, "this Fund will provide emergency nutrition, support grassroots groups, and work towards the goal of long-term food security while ensuring that 100% of all funds go to organizations working on the ground in East Africa."

The Abundance Project for Global Health was featured via video at the Clinton Global Initiative session on "Securing Global Nutrition," moderated by Nicholas Kristof.

The Abundance Foundation's ongoing Clinton Global Initiative Commitment is now being expanded to include participation in a Family Medicine Residency and Nurse Training program in St. Marc, Haiti. Working with Partners In Health and Harvard Medical School, this project is nearly tripling the physician and nurse staffing at Hospital St. Nicholas. This is the only major public hospital serving the Lower Artibonite region, the epicenter of the Haitian cholera outbreak.

The Abundance Foundation has initiated a collaboration with Zach Niles, director of Sierra Leone's Refugee All-Stars, to produce Lakou Mizik, a film exploring Haitian culture and resilience through the music and stories of local musicians. The Abundance Foundation's previous film, Haiti's Heroes, premiered at the 2010 Clinton Global Initiative, and highlights the central role of local practitioners in solving Haiti's most challenging health crises. Pan Am International Flight Academy Hosts ABC's "Pan Am" TV Premiere

MIAMI, Sept. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Pan Am International Flight Academy, headquartered in Miami, Florida, was host to a large enthusiastic crowd for the Sunday "Pan Am" ABC television series premiere.

The event was a huge success with over 100 former Pan Am Airways Flight Attendants and employees in attendance, many sporting authentic Pan Am uniforms from the glory days.

"The TV show was great, the company in attendance was even better," said Patti Jackson, Pan Am reunion committee member. The event evoked treasured memories and rekindled old friendships. "It was exciting to see old friends and make new ones," states Jackson. Pan Am employees are "like a big family," remarked Harry Frahm who worked for over 30 years as a Pan Am purser (male flight attendant) and is now the VP Miami Chapter, World Wings International, Inc. "After 20 years we still get together for holidays."

Viewers gathered in the main lobby of the Pan Am International Flight Academy building, home of the original training division for Pan Am Airways. Many attendees were astonished that a portion of Pan Am still existed. They were pleasantly surprised to find themselves surrounded by huge murals depicting the glory days of Pan Am. For Irene Schwarz, the flight academy was the perfect venue. "For us," she says,"it was like coming home. Many of us were trained in this building and returned every year for additional flight attendant training."

The preview event began with socializing and cocktail tables lined with Pan Am's first class menu including smoked salmon, international cheese platters, prosciutto with melon and free flowing champagne. There was a tone of anticipation, as Irene Schwarz, V.P. Ways & Means Committee of World Wings International, Inc., noted, "Everyone was really excited and looking forward to the show."

The anticipated premiere was viewed on a giant screen with theater-style seating. Carmen Von Lippke, Pan Am's Director of Operations observed many of the former employees, "pinching each other, embracing and giggling during the show." The ABC premiere was thoroughly enjoyed, eliciting cheers, laughter and clapping. "It was realistic. The consensus was everyone loved it," commented Schwarz.

ABC Local 10 News Anchor, Laurie Jennings whose step-father worked as a Pan Am Captain, was thrilled to be in attendance for the premiere and provided live news coverage intermittently throughout the event.

The event was originally planned for a handful of people at the home of a former Pan Am flight attendant. As the list of attendees grew, the committee decided the perfect location for this large family gathering was Pan Am's remaining home at the Miami airport. Word spread of the fabulous venue and over 130 people ended up attending. "Everyone wanted to be there at the Academy. After it was over people were dancing and didn't want to leave," said Schwarz. "It was a fabulous evening."

The show will premiere on TV Land on October 3rd - the same date that "The Dick Van Dyke Show" premiered on CBS in 1961.

Operation Mend is a partnership among Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and the Veterans Administration Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System that was established to help treat U.S. military personnel severely wounded during service in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Friedlinghaus, who has transformed cars for numerous celebrities and corporations, will customize this one-of-a-kind Camaro with a blend of camouflage colors. The team at Mecum Auctions will sell the Camaro at no reserve on Friday, Oct. 7, at 7:30 p.m. CST, drawing bids from the crowd, as well as from online and phone bidders.

NEW YORK, Sept. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Jennifer Lopez, her company Nuyorican Productions and Believe Entertainment Group announce plans to launch a new digital video series entitled "Tiger Beat Entertainment," an all-new entertainment news and lifestyle show for teens and young adults. The series will be distributed through and in partnership with AOL and the teen and young adult platform Cambio and will be produced at Cambio's Hollywood studio.Believe Entertainment Group is a New York-based digital entertainment company. Nuyorican Productions is a television, film and digital production company founded by Jennifer Lopez and Simon Fields.

A partnership with Tiger Beat, the popular teen fan magazine,will provide the show a framework to grow and expand its creative impact and reach among a teen and young adult audience. Jennifer Lopez, Simon Fields, and Believe Entertainment Group will co-executive produce the series.

An ongoing series 'for, about, and by teens and young adults,' Tiger Beat Entertainment will include celebrity, entertainment, music, TV, film, books, gaming and apps news as well as social media and Twitter trends and targeted lifestyle topics such as fashion & beauty, food, health & wellness, decor, relationships and more. In addition to robust media distribution for Tiger Beat Entertainment, Cambio will also lend its suite of proprietary social media tools designed to foster community and interaction with the series. The show will be hosted by a panel of young adult anchors providing a new online format for teens and young adults to share their point of view on all things entertainment.
