Over a year in testing and development, the ISCOSCOPE II Motorized Sled is professionally engineered and designed for heavy handling and increased longevity. A stylish, fully automated anamorphic lens transport system, it features quality engineering, stainless steel bearing components and mechanical improvements to the tensioning system, and has been tested for a much longer lifespan. Other important features include:
-- Heavy-Lens Capable Design. The sled, which weighs 12lbs, is designed to comfortably move light or heavy lenses such as the 10lb ISCO 1.33x Anamorphic Attachment IIIL, the heaviest high-end home cinema projector lens on the US and international market today.
-- Speed. Tested beyond a 30-year service life, its quick-change slide on / off capability lets consumers change to or from a "scope" aspect on the fly, in just 1.2 seconds.
-- Precision Movement. Operated by infra-red remote control, RS232, or 12V trigger inputs, a new, precision synchronous drive belt system delivers smooth, fluid movements and quieter motion, moving lenses in repeatable, accurate positioning to one thousandth of an inch. Also, any shocks to the lens due to rapid movement are totally eliminated by detailed control of acceleration or deceleration curves.
The sled features sleek curved styling and compact design. Its flat main body dimensions of around 20 x 4 x 1 inches can be universally adapted to any anamorphic lens and integrates easily into today's modern, high end home theaters.
"Over the last couple of years AV Installers and manufacturers have expressed the desire to eliminate fixed mounts, bulky attached boxes, cumbersome control cables and control boxes with a turnkey anamorphic solution which includes a motorized sled that can easily switch projection from 16.9 to Cinemascope format automatically," said Brian Ludvigsen, president, ISCO USA Inc. "The ISCOSCOPE II Motorized sled was designed specifically to meet this challenge and we expect it to be the hot accessory for avid home theater fans," he added.
