BroadRelay Inks Deal with the Silk Road Company for Asian Programming

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- BroadRelay, Inc. (http://www.broadrelay.com/), a Philadelphia-based technology, media and entertainment company, and a wholly owned subsidiary of BroadRelay Holdings, Inc. (Pink Sheets: BDRH), announced today that it has entered into a three-year agreement with the Silk Road Company for Chinese-language entertainment programming. The agreement includes first-run movies and TV dramas from China, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Taiwan and other Pacific Rim countries. BroadRelay will initially receive 172 movies and 36 dramas (with approximately 30 episodes per drama) and will continue to receive new movies and dramas each month. The content will be added to the Company's existing slate of Asian-language programming that will soon be launched under the "SIVOO" brand name (http://www.sivoo.com/).

"The increasing demand for Chinese-language programming, not just by overseas Chinese but also the general audience, reflects a world-wide globalization trend," says Jerry Chan, Vice President of Silk Road. "BroadRelay's focus on this rapidly growing market addresses the availability and quality of programming desired by this underserved community." Daniel Leon, BroadRelay's Director of International Programming, added, "We're very excited about the addition of Silk Road's content to SIVOO. This deal brings thousands of hours of programming to our existing library and will form a solid base for our Asian portal when it is launched later this quarter."

BroadRelay currently has agreements with international content providers covering hundreds of movies in 17 languages. SIVOO's first offering, a Spanish-language pay-per-view movie channel, is currently in beta testing; the Company plans an official launch, featuring additional content, later this fall. The Asian movie channel is expected to launch in the 4th quarter 2005 with hundreds of titles, including the new content from Silk Road. Additionally, in a joint venture with the C3 Group, BroadRelay is developing AsiaCrossing.com, an English-language news portal serving the Asian community in the U.S. and abroad. AsiaCrossing.com is currently in beta testing, with an anticipated 4th quarter 2005 launch date.
