Give the Holiday Gift That Helps Fight Childhood Obesity

Tiny Tot Sports Donates a Portion of Profits From Sports-Themed Baby and Toddler Videos to Help Fight Childhood Obesity

Award-Winning Video Series Gets Children Up, Active, And in the Game

ALLENTOWN, Pa., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Tiny Tot Sports Inc., a communications and video-production company dedicated to introducing babies and toddlers to the benefits of sports, announced today they will donate a portion of their holiday sales profits to help fight childhood obesity nationwide. Jack Daddona, Jr., President of Sales and Marketing at Tiny Tot Sports, made the announcement today.

"In partnership with our newly formed advisory committee we have made a commitment to help fight childhood obesity," said Daddona. "The holiday season is our most profitable time of the year and what better time to give something back. We are offering special holiday gift packs this year because getting children up, active and in the game is our number-one goal."

John Daddona and his sons Dino and Jack created Tiny Tot Sports Inc. in December 2002 and pioneered the baby and toddler sports-themed video market. While searching for gifts for their children/grandchildren, they noticed the video market-serving infants through four-year-olds was full of selections on art, music, monster trucks and construction crews. But they couldn't find a single video introducing toddlers to sports. They immediately created Tiny Tot Sports Inc. and hired award-winning television producer Alan LaGarde (Trading Spaces, Forensic Files) to develop the company's first product, "Baby Baseball."

Following the success of "Baby Baseball," Tiny Tot Sports released "Baby Soccer" at The American International Toy Fair in New York City in February of 2004, "Baby Basketball" in May of 2004, and "Baby Golf" and "Baby Football" in September of 2004. The company is scheduled to release "Baby Tennis," "Baby Cheerleading," and "Baby Racing" in 2006.

Tiny Tot Sports' videos were recently honored by Creative Child Magazine as "2005 Toy of the Year" in the DVD category, named Best Vacation Toy by Dr. Toy, named 2005 Best Product by the iParenting Media Awards, and given The Dove Foundation Seal of Approval. The videos have received positive reviews nationwide from more than 400 media outlets, including ESPN, the FOX News Channel, the Boston Herald, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the San Diego Press Enterprise, and Better Health and Living magazine.
