TV Azteca to Broadcast Live From Party During Sunday's Show; Johanna Gets Support From Family Back Home

LOS ANGELES, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- KB Home (NYSE:KBH), one of the nation's premier homebuilders, announced today that it will host a "La Academia" viewing party on Sunday for the family and neighbors of Johanna Delgado Nunez, a 19-year-old finalist on TV Azteca's popular Spanish-language musical reality show. The party, which will be catered by KB Home, will be broadcast to Johanna in Mexico City during the taping of the show via a live feed. Johanna, a resident of KB Home's Waterford community in Perris, CA, is the only female contestant from the United States performing on the show.

La Academia, now in its fourth season, follows a group of contestants who after auditioning, live together at a performance academy, where they are filmed and broadcast on TV Azteca Monday-Friday. The show culminates each week with a concert on Sunday night in front of millions of viewers worldwide. Viewers call in each week to vote for their favorite contestant and the one with the fewest votes is asked to leave the show. Johanna is one of 10 remaining contestants.
