BAM Education Radio Network Launches PULSE to Support Host-Produced Programming

Macmillan's Quick and Dirty Series to Anchor the New Channel

LOS ANGELES, June 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, BAM Radio Network (BRN), the all-education radio network, announced the launch of PULSE, a new platform created to serve educators' growing interest in online radio. The site will allow producers of education-related radio shows and podcasts to access BRN's global community of educators, who use internet radio for professional development, project-based learning, community building, outreach, brand building, parental engagement, and adding their voices to the international education discussion. The new platform is anchored by several well-established shows, including: Eric Sheninger's Guide to Digital Leadership; Vicki Davis' Every Classroom Matters; Concordia's Edtech show; Don Wetrick's ImmovatED; and Macmillan's Quick and Dirty series, featuring Grammar Girl, Math Dude and Everyday Einstein.

It is an extension of the well-established BAM Radio Network, which has been producing and hosting radio programs for leading national education associations since 2003. Education organizations with shows on BRN include: the National Association of Elementary School Principals; the American Association of School Administrators; The National PTA; the National Association for the Education of Young Children; the National Association of School Nurses and Discovery Educator Network, to name a few. The network also hosts shows for self-organizing online communities of connected educators, including the #SATChat, #Edchat, #PTChat and #Edtechchat.
