Boys Like Girls to Release New Single 'Heart Heart Heartbreak,' Follow-Up to Consecutive Platinum & Top 10 Hits 'Love Drunk' and 'Two Is Better Than One'

Campaign Kicks-Off With Lopez Tonight, Sony make.believe 'Live Sets' Online Performance & Appearance at The 2010 Kids' Choice Awards Band to Co-Headline The Bamboozle Roadshow 2010 With All Time Low, LMFAO & Third Eye Blind Band to Perform and Announce Winner of Seventeen Magazine's ULTIMATE PROM Sweepstakes

LOS ANGELES, March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Boys Like Girls will celebrate the launch of new single "Heart Heart Heartbreak" with a whirlwind of media activity, including an appearance on LOPEZ TONIGHT on Monday, March 22, and culminating with an appearance at the NICKELODEON KIDS' CHOICE AWARDS on March 27th.

Hot on the heels of the success of "Two is Better Than One" - the Boston band's fifth consecutive Top 40 single, and second consecutive platinum and top 10 single - Boys Like Girls are preparing for the April release of "Heart Heart Heartbreak," the third single from their acclaimed sophomore release Love Drunk. The song will impact radio in mid-April with a music video to follow at the end of the month.

"Heart Heart Heartbreak" will receive its television premiere when the band performs the song live on the TBS late-night show LOPEZ TONIGHT on Monday, March 22. Two days later on March 24, the band will perform a live, digitally streamed concert for the Sony make.believe (pronounced "make dot believe") "Live Sets" online series. Fans can watch the entire show in real time--as well as interviews with the band--at Sony's Facebook page, www.facebook.com/Sony. The Sony make.believe philosophy is simple: Believe that anything you can imagine, you can make real.

Boys Like Girls' hectic week continues as the band joins forces with the cast from Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush to launch prom season 2010 with Seventeen Magazine and JC Penney. This free event will be hosted by Karli Henriquez of KIIS FM 102.7, and take place at the JC Penney in the Westfield Culver City Shopping Center on Thursday, March 25 at 4pm. Boys Like Girls will do a short acoustic performance and announce the winner of Seventeen's Ultimate Prom sweepstakes. The lucky winner will truly receive the Ultimate Prom, a live concert by Boys Like Girls at their very own school prom this spring. Fans will be able to watch the Ultimate Prom event live on the web at www.livestream.com/ultimateprom.

Boys Like Girls - Martin Johnson (vocals, guitar), Paul DiGiovanni (lead guitar, vocals), Brian Donahue (bass guitar, vocals) and John Keefe (drums) - will co-headline this summer's The Bamboozle Roadshow 2010, alongside fellow marquee names All Time Low, LMFAO, and Third Eye Blind. The tour kicks off May 22 at the Merriweather Post Pavilion, in Columbia, MD, and runs through June 27, at the Comcast Center, in Boston, MA, playing exclusively at amphitheaters and Six Flags amusement parks.
