Miami Vice Actor Philip Michael Thomas to Host Fundraiser for Whilly Bermudez

MIAMI, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- South Florida resident and co-star of the Miami Vice Television Show Philip Michael Thomas who played the role of "Detective Rico Tubbs" on the hit series will be hosting a campaign fundraiser for Whilly Bermudez - Candidate for the Florida House of Representatives for 116th District. Actor Philip Michael Thomas joins a growing list of celebrities that are passionate about their communities and the current state of our nation. Mr. Thomas believes that 'political action' means supporting good people. "Doing the right thing and electing the right candidates is a bipartisan responsibility, this is why I'm supporting Whilly Bermudez for the Florida House," states Mr. Thomas.

The fundraising cocktail reception will be held Saturday - November 14, 2009 at 7:30 pm until 11:00 pm at the beautiful River Lounge inside Epic Hotel in the downtown Brickell District of Miami.
