SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Tickets for this exclusive live event sold out in just minutes. But now everyone can watch it online -- for free!

Evan Kleiman, host of the public radio show, Good Food (Saturdays @ 11am on 89.9FM KCRW-Santa Monica and www.KCRW.com) presides over Good Food Live!, a powerhouse panel of Australian celebrity Chefs, including Luke Mangan, Mark Olive and Curtis Stone, alongside Norbert Wabnig of The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills.

The event took place on Jan. 17, 2009 at The Paley Center for Media, Beverly Hills, and was recorded live as a webcast for free on-demand online viewing at www.KCRW.com.

In addition to hosting KCRW's Good Food, Chef Evan Kleiman is renowned for her signature Melrose Avenue restaurant Angeli Caffe and is a noted cookbook author. The Australian Chefs spoke with her about their passions, techniques and background and celebrated the explosion of high quality food and drink from Down Under.

Mark Olive, aka the "Black Olive," is Australia's first high profile indigenous Chef. He's passionate about bringing the vibrant colors and earthy tastes of ancient outback flavors and food to dining tables across the country and around the world and also has a successful television career with his cooking/lifestyle show, "Outback Cafe."

Curtis Stone is currently filming one of America's most popular reality cooking shows titled, "Take Home Chef" and has appeared on NBC's leading morning show, "The Today Show." He was recently named one of People Magazine's sexiest men alive.

Luke Mangan is known as one of Australia's leading chefs and is often seen on TV. He's run several successful restaurants around Australia and has written two cookbooks. He is currently involved in three restaurants: Glass in Sydney, Salt and World Wine Bar in Tokyo and South in San Francisco. He's also served as head Chef for the black tie gala dinners that were part of "G'day USA: Australia Week 2009."

Evan Kleiman moderated the discussion with the Australian chefs about Australian food, flavors and culture. Norbert Wabnig joined everyone on stage for a Show-and-Tell of Aussie items -- spotlighting olive oil, cheese, jams and various indigenous herbs and spices.

Good Food Live was produced in partnership with Tourism Australia, which created Australia Week to give visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in Australian culture. Michelle Gysberts, Vice President Tourism Australia Americas, was delighted to have secured three such well-known and well respected Chefs to showcase Australia as a leader in gastronomy.

"The Specialty Travel Agent's Association named culinary travel as its top travel trend for 2009 and one of the fastest growing segments in travel. Australia is very lucky to have such great talent and ambassadors for Australia in the food and wine sector, not to mention great produce, restaurants, wine regions, food events and festivals. We are certainly well-placed to capitalize on this trend in 2009," said Ms Gysberts.
