On Saturday, June 7 at 5:00 pm ET, SIRIUS listeners around the country will hear the live race call from Belmont Park in Elmont, NY on ESPN Radio, SIRIUS channel 120. Acclaimed track announcer Dave Johnson will serve as host of the two-hour ESPN broadcast with award-winning racing writer Bill Finley as analyst. Bob Valvano and Ron Flatter will report from the Paddock and Winners Circle, while Jody McDonald will serve as race handicapper.

After winning both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes in impressive fashion, Big Brown is poised to become the first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed won the elusive trifecta in 1978. Despite recently suffering a crack in his left front hoof, Big Brown remains the field favorite and has many experts and fans anticipating another historic day at Belmont.

On race day, SIRIUS will offer seven hours of live pre-race coverage from Belmont Park on SIRIUS channel 127. SIRIUS' exclusive horse racing program, Down The Stretch, will broadcast live from Belmont Park in its normal timeslot from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm ET with an additional live broadcast from 3:00 to 5:00 pm ET. Hosted by Dave Johnson and Bill Finley, Down The Stretch will provide the latest updates on Big Brown's health, a final analysis of the race field and interviews with jockeys, trainers and owners. From 12:00 to 3:00 pm ET on race day, a special edition of the daily show At The Races with Steve Byk will air live from Belmont. All pre-race programming will air on SIRIUS channel 127.

At The Races will also broadcast live from Belmont every weekday afternoon this week from 4:00 to 7:00 pm ET on SIRIUS channel 126. Byk will report on all the latest news from the track and chat with handicapping experts and trainers each day to give listeners an in-depth look at the field leading up to race day.

"Winning the Triple Crown is so rare a feat that when a horse comes this close, the sports world stops to pay attention," said Steve Cohen, SIRIUS' Vice President and General Manager of Sports Programming. "During the week our hosts will be at Belmont every day giving fans the latest reports from the track and the paddocks. On race day, we will provide a full seven hours of pre-race programming that covers the event from every angle. Whether Big Brown gallops into history on Saturday or another horse beats the odds to win, SIRIUS listeners can follow along every step of the way."

SIRIUS offers horse racing fans around the country comprehensive coverage of the "Sport of Kings" throughout the year, providing live coverage of top races from around the country plus the racing talk shows Down The Stretch (Saturdays, 10 am - 12 pm ET, SIRIUS 127) and At The Races with Steve Byk (weekdays, 4-7 pm ET, SIRIUS 126).
