LOS ANGELES, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Live Nation, the world's largest live music company, announced today newly added dates to Janet Jackson's Rock Witchu tour, her first tour in seven years. The announcement of the new tour dates coincides with her appearance on BET's 106 & Park today where she will discuss what fans can expect from the upcoming tour, and reflect on her previous groundbreaking tours including Rhythm Nation 1814. The Rhythm Nation 1814 tour solidified Janet's status as a trailblazing entertainer with cutting edge choreography, unparalleled stage production and theatrics, and won over audiences and broke global box office records along the way.

Additional television appearances this week include MTV's TRL and Entertainment Tonight. Janet Jackson has undeniably influenced pop culture with not only her current album "Discipline," which debuted at number one on the charts, but over a 100 million total albums sold, countless hit singles, awards and accolades. The tour will feature new songs from her album "Discipline," as well as all of the hit singles and innovative dance routines that have made her one of the most celebrated artists in history.
