Hollywood's Jordan Matthews Talks on 'Getting Paid to Travel'

Future film-industry icon to shoot 'Killing Thunder' in exotic Puerto Rico

LOS ANGELES, March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- There's no doubt that acting and modeling are Jordan Matthews' (http://www.jordanmatthews.com/) top-two professional passions. But according to this Hollywood rising star, traveling to exotic places and experiencing other cultures is what he really loves to do in his free time -- the reason he's thrilled to announce that he's heading to Puerto Rico soon to start filming "Killing Thunder" by DAC Productions.

"When you love to act and love to travel, there's nothing better than getting paid to do both," Matthews says. "As an up-and-coming actor, this is my life now -- and I don't take one bit of it for granted."

"Killing Thunder" is an edgy thriller packed with exciting elements -- everything from a haunted house where paranormal things take place to a cast of fascinating characters energizing the extremely entertaining script. According to Matthews, the Puerto Rican government has opened its arms to DAC Productions, which will likely begin shooting "Killing Thunder" within the next couple of months.

"I have a pretty sizeable role, which is really cool," Matthews says. "Some of the other key players are still in negotiations, so I can't say who will also star in the movie. I can, however, tell you that it's going to be filmed in beautiful Puerto Rico. The setting couldn't be better -- and it's also the perfect vacation spot. I absolutely love traveling, and so going to such an exotic country to partake in a film is a 'dream come true.' I'm hoping to explore it a bit -- that's if I don't have to rush back to the states for another job when we're done."

According to Matthews, visiting other countries and integrating into unique cultures provides the perfect opportunity to learn more about different people, their stories, perspectives and psyches.

"Wherever I go, I'm always paying attention to 'characters' in life," Matthews says. "And this time, I'm privileged to travel to a country that's very different from ours -- ethnically, economically, geographically and more. It's going to be intense, but it's going to be amazing."
