Congress Television Channel Planned by iBoycott

Congress Television Channel Planned by iBoycott

Satellite channel would transform Congress's communications to nation

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- iBoycott, an online organizing group, states that Congress has twice declared genocide to be ongoing in Sudan, voting over 400-to-0 both times. The boycott asserts that there has been virtually no reportage of Sudan genocides by network television news.

The target of the boycott is McDonald's. The demand to the fast-food corporation is to withdraw its advertising from NBC Universal, a division of General Electric and Vivendi. According to iBoycott President Terrence McCloy, an Oscar-nominated screenwriter, NBC News's coverage of genocide of a cited 2.2 to 3 million black Christians in south Sudan has been non-existent, and in north Sudan is indifferent.

To Allow Each Member of Congress to Talk Directly to the American People at Will

So that each member of Congress can make any presentation to the American people on any and every topic, including Sudan, iBoycott demands that General Electric's NBC convene other major media, and launch Congress Television Channel in ninety days. The Channel is to be owned and run by Congress. Launching of the Channel is a condition of boycott settlement.

Congress Television Channel will give each of the 535 members of Congress, alphabetically, a 15-minute, my-television-newsmagazine presentation on any subjects, to the nation and world, from anywhere on earth, including Sudan. Each member of Congress can choose to present his or her television newsmagazine every twenty-two evenings. A sister Internet channel can allow feedback, archives, voter registration, and fundraising.

iBoycott urges members of Congress to call for the fast-track launch of Congress Television Channel.

Television Channels for Democratic and Republican Parties

iBoycott equally requires, as a condition for settlement of the consumer boycott, that major media launch Democratic Party Television Channel and Republican Party Television Channel. These are to be satellite channels owned and operated by the national committees of the political parties, with side- by-side studio buildings in Washington, New York and Los Angeles.

Demand for Billions in Apology Refunds to Americans

iBoycott refers to demanding refunds as the American consumer way, and like a class-action lawsuit by boycott. The boycott demands that NBC and four other major media each fund double-digit billions of dollars "apology-remorse funds," for a Sudanese Christians genocide recovery trust, and for National Honor Awards, money awards for Americans who obtain count-me-in emails from friends. iBoycott invites all Americans to earn refund awards. iBoycott is based on a document titled "Wall Street" at blog http://biggorilla.typepad.com/.

The boycott calls upon the Republican and Democratic committees, Wall Street, prominent Americans, and social-networkers to support the launching of Congress Television Channel.
