'The Norristown Project' A Look at High School Experiences As Seen Through the Eyes of Teens

BALA CYNWYD, Pa., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Partnering with Norristown Area High School, NBC 10 News is proud to present "The Norristown Project," an original and innovative experiment that will focus on the lives of several high students as they progress throughout the school year. With the success of last year's Upper Darby Project, NBC 10 News will once again give viewers an exclusive look into the daily lives and issues of local high school students.

"The Norristown Project," hosted by NBC 10 News Reporter Tim Furlong, will air bi-weekly on Fridays during the 4PM news, and will re-broadcast on Saturdays during the 9AM news. You can also watch the segments on NBC10.com. Like both The Upper Darby and Oxford Projects, the exciting documentary-style segments will highlight some of the real life issues affecting teenagers today. Topics addressed in the previous high school projects ranged from coping with the death of a classmate to managing the challenges of teenage parenthood.

For a first hand look into the trials and triumphs of high school life through the eyes of several teenagers, be sure to tune into NBC 10 News at 4PM on Friday, October 26th for the kickoff segment of "The Norristown Project."
