Jonas Brothers Break Records at Texas State Fair
BURBANK, Calif., Oct. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Hollywood Records' Jonas Brothers set attendance records yesterday in Dallas, performing at the Texas State Fair. Fans showed up in the range of 40,000 people, oblivious to the stifling heat and humidity, and traffic tie ups that backed highways up to Oklahoma. Not since Garth Brooks has the Texas State Fair had such record breaking attendance. Local TV stations likened Jonas Brothers to Elvis, The Beatles and Green Day.
Jonas Brothers self-titled CD debuted on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart at # 5, and their single, "S.O.S." shot straight to # 1 on iTunes. Jonas Brothers was the first release in the CDVU+ format, a multi-media, 100 % recyclable package. Jonas Brothers embark on their sold out tour with Miley Cyrus in St. Louis, MO on October 18, and are set to release The Bonus Jonas Edition, a deluxe version of Jonas Brothers October 30.
