Rockmond Dunbar Moves Up the Ranks on Fox's 'Prison Break'

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Rockmond Dunbar, who previously had a recurring role on Fox's hit series, "Prison Break," has been added to the cast as a series regular. Dunbar's promotion comes after being introduced in the pilot and subsequent episodes as the tough, mysterious inmate "C-Note" on the breakthrough drama. Monday, new episodes begin airing on October 24th at 9pm on Fox.

Rockmond will also be featured in the upcoming Warner Brothers film, "Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang," starring opposite Robert Downey Jr. His credits include lead roles in the independent films, "Love the Way," "All About You," "Punks" and "Misery Loves Company." He made his directorial debut in 2003 with the short film, "The Great Commission," for Showtime. His follow-up directing project is the independent feature, "Wrath of the Medusa," currently in pre-production.

Best known for his five-year run starring on the Showtime series, "Soul Food," Dunbar was recently named one of "Television's Sexiest Stars of All Time" by TV Guide. His television credits include Steven Spielberg's "Earth 2," ABC's "The Practice," UPN's "Girlfriends" and Fox's "Head Cases."
