Players Network and the Vegas Media Group to Co-Produce New Original Gaming Lifestyle Series

New Shows Add to Company's Portfolio of On-Demand Programming for its VOD, Broadband, DVD, In-Room, Mobile and Other Distribution Platforms

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Players Network, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: PNTV) (www.playersnetwork.com) the leading media company in the gaming lifestyle category, and Vegas Media Group, one of the leading production and post production companies in Las Vegas, announced today that they have formed a Joint Venture to co-produce new, original programming series within the gaming lifestyle category. The shows will be produced at Players Network's Studio, with post-production services provided by Post Digital, which is wholly owned by Vegas Media Group.

Players Network and Vegas Media Group recently produced original programming from the World Series of Poker(R) at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas featuring television shows with poker superstars and celebrities such as Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, Jennifer Harmon, Phil Laak, Jennifer Tilley, Gabe Kaplan, Mike Matusow, David Sklansky and Todd Brunson. Matusow, Sklansky and Brunson recently starred in Players Network's poker educational DVD series, "In the Mind of... The Poker Pro", which is the exclusive poker educational DVD currently airing on US Air.

Players Network and Vegas Media Group will produce a new series of shows based on, "In The Mind of... " that will deliver to audiences "edutainment" from top experts in various gaming disciplines, including more about poker, as well as getting "In the Minds of... " experts on blackjack, craps, sports betting, horse racing, and even non-traditional "gambling" activities such as investing in the commodities and stock markets, with experts in those fields teaching viewers how to "handicap" their investments.

Future shows will include "After Dark" a half-hour lifestyle show set in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and other international gaming venues where the action gets red-hot after the sun goes down, and "Gamblers", a reality show where people risk a lot more than money.
