NEW YORK, Oct. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Nick Jr. takes preschoolers undercover! Join Blue, Dora, Diego, Sportacus and The Backyardigans, as they put on their detective hats for Nick Jr.'s "Spy Day Friday" marathon on Friday, October 21 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (ET/PT).

The three-hour marathon will feature a never-before-seen episode of Nick Jr.'s comic/action series, LazyTown, entitled "Secret Agent Zero," where Robbie Rotten tricks the LazyTowners into believing that he has won the Mayoral race. Stephanie and the kids discover that he has cheated, and Mayor Meanswell becomes a secret agent. With the help of Sportacus, the Mayor uncovers how Robbie deceived them all, and Meanswell regains the office of Mayor.

"Spy Day Friday" on Nick Jr. will air as follows (all times are ET/PT):

* 11:30am - BACKYARDIGANS "Secret Mission" -- Pablo, Tyrone, and Uniqua are secret agents, sneaking through the Treasure Museum. Tango music propels them through secret passageways, booby traps, and laser-beam security. Can they return the secret treasure to its rightful owner without getting caught?

* 12:00pm - BLUE'S CLUES "Blue's Big Mystery" -- Something very mysterious has happened -- somebody built a fort in the backyard! But who? We become Blue's Clues detectives as we hunt for clues to lead us to the mystery builder. Along the way, Mr. Salt finds a mysterious leaf and we help Steve figure out which tree it came from. Using our observation and problem solving skills, we stay hot on the trail and find the mystery builder!

* 12:30pm - DORA THE EXPLORER "The Lost City" -- Where do toys go when they're lost? -- to the Lost City! But the city is really hard to find. Dora and Boots are on an Indiana Jones-like adventure as they race through the Number Pyramid and take a quick shortcut to the Jumbled Jungle. If we can find the Lost City, Dora can get back her lost teddy bear, and all her friends can get back their lost treasures!

* 1:00pm - GO, DIEGO, GO! "Pepito's Penguin School" -- Diego and Alicia are studying penguins in Antarctica. Alicia takes off in her yellow submarine, leading the penguins to their new schools. Suddenly, Diego hears a call for help from Pepito, a little penguin chick who got left behind. Diego and Pepito head off on an Antarctic adventure to find Pepito's school. Along the way, they meet the chinstrap penguins and play 'Simon Says,' and meet the Adelie penguins who invite Diego and Pepito to join their music class. But it's not until Pepito swims across an icy lake that he finds his penguin school -- and learns he's an Emperor Penguin!

LazyTown is a comic/action series created in Iceland by professional athlete and aerobic champion Magnus Scheving. LazyTown is set in a strange and wonderful village where eight-year-old Stephanie and her friends are caught between a charismatic, health-conscious superhero named Sportacus (played by Scheving) and lazy bad guy Robbie Rotten, who spends his time lounging around and eating junk food. A mix of live-action, puppets and CGI animation, LazyTown is dedicated to making physical activity and healthy lifestyles for kids entertaining and fun.

LazyTown creator and star Magnus Scheving is a world class athlete, entertainer and writer in his native Iceland. During his travels around the world lecturing on health and fitness, parents always asked Scheving about exercise and nutrition for children. As a response, he created LazyTown in 1991 with the book "Go, Go Lazy Town!" and the property was built into a household name in Iceland with businesses including publishing, live theatrical performances and a radio station.
