Cauldron Solutions Names Cable Industry Veteran Dan Sweeney Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing

NEW YORK, Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Cauldron Solutions, the leading provider of technology solutions for the distribution and transactions of all on-demand content, today announced cable television veteran Daniel Sweeney as its new Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Sweeney's knowledge of the cable industry and his expertise in sales and marketing will provide Cauldron the ability to further cultivate its global relationships with content and service providers while accelerating its growth as a business. Cauldron provides software-based solutions that help providers of on-demand media better manage the distribution and related transactions of such content while giving consumers a better personal media experience.

As Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cauldron, Sweeney will be responsible for all global sales and marketing initiatives. He will oversee the creation and utilization of sales and marketing materials and work with customers on new and current programs and develop, build and manage strategic relationships.

Prior to joining Cauldron Solutions, Sweeney served for four years as a senior vice president of NTN Buzztime, Inc., a developer and distributor of branded multiplayer games, where his responsibilities included consumer business marketing, new business development, contract negotiations, public relations and research and product development strategy.

Previously, Sweeney held a senior vice president position at Gemstar-TV Guide International, Inc., and was responsible for national account, field sales and local advertising sales for six diverse products. Prior to that, he was vice president of Prevue Networks, where he was responsible for marketing, product research, national accounts, field sales and programming. Sweeney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications/Marketing from Xavier University.
