PFA-VF Launches Ad Urging Senators to Put Principle Over Politics

--National Cable Buy Targets Democrats Who Supported Roberts; Demands Same Fair Treatment for Next Supreme Court Nominee--

WASHINGTON, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Progress for America Voter Fund (PFA- VF) today announced a $275,000 national cable television ad buy on FOX and CNN urging fair-minded Senators to continue putting principle over politics, support a fair hearing and a fair up-or-down vote for the president's second Supreme Court nominee.

"Today, a significant number of Democrats joined Senate Republicans and endorsed the Ginsburg-Roberts Precedent, a fair process that the next Supreme Court nominee deserves," said Brian McCabe, president of PFA-VF. "These fair- minded Democrats should resist the pressure by liberal special interest groups and DNC Chairman Dean and continue to put principle over politics when it comes to the Supreme Court."

The 30-second ad "Principle" will begin airing today at noon for one week.
