LONDON, Sept. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- blinkx, the smartest thing on your computer, today announced a content agreement with Teachers' TV, enabling teachers and education professionals the ability to search all content from the channel via www.blinkx.tv.

With the new school year upon us, UK teachers are busy planning their lessons for this term. The blinkx TV service will help in cutting down the time and pressure teachers face in planning their lessons thanks to its unique search abilities which capture and index the entire video stream at source, so that exact clips or segments can be pinpointed. This will enable teachers, short on time and in need of ideas and inspiration, to jump straight to the material they seek by entering a few words into the search box.

Funded by the Department for Education and Skills but editorially independent, Teachers' TV is aimed at helping busy education professionals with programs that share ideas and practical experience. While most programs are currently available via www.teachers.tv, blinkx TV will provide an additional portal to access programs, with an "always on," entirely searchable video library for education professionals in the UK.
