Chica Releases CD on Sought After Entertainment Label Latina Trio Brings Latin Influence to Pop & Rhythmic Formats

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Sept. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Sought After Entertainment (SA Entertainment) -- Powerful Music. Positive Message -- today announced its second recording artists -- a hot, bilingual Latina trio called Chica as its follow-up to R&R and Billboard-charted Troy Johnson. Chica is a group of three Latinas -- Emille (Puerto Rican), Monique (of Mexican descent) and Lynnette (of Puerto Rican descent). The first single -- STOP -- will be on the radio September 19, 2005. The self-titled CD from Chica will be released October 4, 2005.

Born in Puerto Rico, Emille Gandara always had music in her heart and home. By nine years old, she was recording radio and TV jingles and had done a few children's albums. The second member of the group, Monique Ximenez hails from Sacramento, California where she could often be found "composing" childhood songs on her family's antique piano. The final member of Chica, Lynnette Collazo, grew up in Chicago. She found herself standing on stage singing her first solo at age six. All three members of Chica co-write their material and draw from an eclectic mix ranging from Luis Fonsi to the Beatles and from Celine Dion to Mariah Carey.
