Charles Band Shares His Vision in October

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Cult horror film director Charles Band is set to take his macabre mix of creatures, puppets, dolls and bizarre movie magic on the road this October with Charles Band's Full Moon Horror Road Show. An unprecedented national tour giving fans the opportunity to experience a completely unique event and meet the mighty gruesome guru in-person.

Each evening will feature Charles Band and a surprise celebrity guest from past films, rare clips and behind the scene moments, contests, bizarre audience participation, Q&A and signing session, an original puppet and doll auction in every city and a chance to win a part and be killed in an upcoming Full Moon feature! This event promises to be a night fans will not soon forget!

The visionary behind such classics as Puppetmaster, Trancers, Blood Dolls, Decadent Evil, and the Subspecies vampire series, Band helped launch the careers of many of Hollywood's A-list including Demi Moore, Viggo Mortenson, Helen Hunt, Kelly Preston and many more.

Charles Band began making films in 1975 at the tender age of 21. A pioneer in the entertainment industry, in 1978 he had the foresight to see the potential of the home video market as founder of Media Home Entertainment, the first independent video distribution company in North America. In 1990 he founded his own production studio, Full Moon Features -- a final resting place for his twisted imagination. With a catalog that boasts almost 250 titles, Band has created the ultimate science fiction/horror/fantasy empire that enjoys the envious position of instant label recognition.

This traveling horror fest culminates in Philadelphia on Halloween where fans are required to come in costume to help celebrate the nation's most frightful night!

This is a road show to die for!!!
