LOS ANGELES, July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The Arbitron Spring 2005 ratings survey for Atlanta and Miami again demonstrates Mr. Limbaugh's lead in the ratings game against liberal talkers. In Atlanta, Mr. Limbaugh's Persons 12+ audience is five times the size of Mr. Franken's audience and is four times its size for Adults 25-54. Heard Monday through Friday on WGST-AM from noon-3 p.m., The Rush Limbaugh Show scored, among Persons 12+, a 5.4 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 40,600 listeners. Among Adults 25-54, he has a 4.2 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 19,700 listeners. Mr. Franken, who airs at the same time on WWAA-AM, has a Persons 12+ share of 1.1 with an average quarter-hour audience of 8,000 listeners. With Adults 25-54, he has a 1.0 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 4,900 listeners. In addition, Mr. Limbaugh's audience is seven times greater than Mr. Jerry Springer's audience for Persons 12+ and six times greater for Adults 25-54. Mr. Springer's show also airs on WWAA-AM. Mr. Ed Schultz does not have an affiliate in this market.

The Rush Limbaugh Show, heard Monday through Friday from noon - 3 p.m. on WIOD-AM in Miami, Mr. Limbaugh's audience is 30 percent larger than Mr. Franken's audience for Persons 12+ and he scored a 3.8 share in the same category, with an average quarter-hour audience of 29,300 listeners.
Among Adults 25-54, he holds a 3.0 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 12,600 listeners. Mr. Franken, who airs at the same time on WINZ-AM, scored among Persons 12+ a 2.9 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 22,500 listeners. Among Adults 25-54, his share is 2.6 with an average quarter-hour audience of 10,700 listeners.

In Orlando, the three liberal talkers previously mentioned do not have affiliates in the market. However, The Rush Limbaugh Show, heard Monday through Friday from noon to 3 p.m. on WFLF-AM is, for Persons 12+, up 33 percent from the Winter Arbitron 2005 ratings survey and up 14 percent from one year ago.
Known as the media pundit who reshaped the political landscape with his entertaining and informative brand of conservatism, Mr. Limbaugh is also widely credited with resuscitating AM radio by many industry experts.
