LOS ANGELES, July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Mr. Rush Limbaugh continues to consistently beat liberal talkers, according to the Arbitron Spring 2005 ratings survey for Cleveland, Dallas, Minneapolis, and Houston. In Cleveland, Mr. Limbaugh's Persons 12+ audience is twice the size of Mr. Jerry Springer's audience and four times its size for Adults 25-54. In addition, The Rush Limbaugh Show is #1 in its timeslot for Persons 12+. Heard Monday through Friday on WTAM-AM from noon - 3 p.m., The Rush Limbaugh Show scored, among Persons 12+, a 10.1 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 38,000 listeners. Among Adults 25-54, he has an 8.9 share with an average quarter- hour audience of 19,800 listeners. Mr. Springer, who airs at a different time on the same station, has a Persons 12+ share of 4.5 with an average quarter- hour audience of 16,300 listeners. With Adults 25-54, he has a 2.3 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 4,800 listeners. Mr. Al Franken and Mr. Ed Schultz do not air in this market.

Mr. Limbaugh's Persons 12+ audience is nine times larger than Mr. Franken's audience. For Adults 25-54, Mr. Limbaugh's audience is nearly six times larger than Mr. Franken's. In addition, Mr. Limbaugh's audience is greater than Mr. Springer's audience by 12 times for Persons 12+ and eight times for Adults 25-54. Mr. Schultz does not have an affiliate in this market. Mr. Franken, who airs at a different time on KTNF-AM, scored among Persons 12+ a 2.6 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 13,700 listeners. Among Adults 25-54, his share is 2.9 with an average quarter-hour audience of 9,400 listeners. For Persons 12+, Mr. Limbaugh has twice the audience as Mr. Franken. Mr. Springer does not have an affiliate in this market.

Among Adults 25-54, he has a 4.4 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 24,200 listeners. Mr. Schultz, who airs at a different time on a different station, has a Persons 12+ share of 5.5 with an average quarter-hour audience of 22,600 listeners. With Adults 25-54, he has a 4.4 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 9,000 listeners. Mr. Franken and Mr. Springer do not air in this market.

Overall, Mr. Limbaugh's Adult 25-54 audience is up 25 percent from one year ago.

Known as the media pundit who reshaped the political landscape with his entertaining and informative brand of conservatism, Mr. Limbaugh is also widely credited with resuscitating AM radio by many industry experts.
