Rolling Rock Invites Military Personnel to Attend Town Fair Six Concert as 'Honored Guests'

Free Admission Shows Support for the Troops

LATROBE, Pa., July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Rolling Rock announced today that it is inviting all active-duty and reserve military personnel to attend the Rolling Rock Town Fair Six concert on Saturday, August 6, as "honored guests" of Latrobe Brewing Company. The day-long rock concert at Jennerstown Speedway in Somerset County will feature a "brewed in PA" lineup of outstanding Pennsylvania bands including Live, The Clarks, Rusted Root, The Juliana Theory, Bloodhound Gang, Good Brother Earl, and Super No. 7, plus the winner of the Road to Town Fair contest.

"We want to thank the men and women of our armed forces for their service," said Ronnie Tucker, director of marketing for Rolling Rock and Rock Green Light. "It's a small gesture, but we hope that offering free admission to Rolling Rock Town Fair Six shows that we sincerely appreciate everything the people in the military do for our country."

Active duty and reserve members of the military will be admitted to Rolling Rock Town Fair Six just by showing their military ID card. "We're keeping this very simple; anyone who shows up at the gate with a military ID card gets in free," Tucker said.

Rolling Rock Town Fair has been a smashing success since it first rocked Latrobe in 2000. Tucker attributes the concert's popularity to the enthusiasm of its loyal fans and its heavy-hitting lineups of bands, which in the past have included Blink 182, Outkast, Nickelback, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sum 41, Godsmack, P.O.D., Stone Temple Pilots, Staind and a whole host of others.

The show at Jennerstown Speedway will retain all of the key ingredients that have made it so popular with its amphitheater style stage surrounded by a "village" of tents filled with country-fair-style attractions and vendors. Gates open at 10:30 a.m. The music starts at 11 a.m. and will go until 9 p.m. Tickets for the full day of music and entertainment are a great value -- $33.00.
