CEDAR KNOLLS, N.J., July 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MediaBay, Inc. (NASDAQ:MBAY), a leading digital media and publishing company specializing in spoken word and premium audio entertainment, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Brilliance Audio, the nation's largest independent audiobook publisher, to offer downloadable audiobook editions of its extensive library of fiction and nonfiction bestsellers. Nearly 1000 titles of downloadable content will include works by authors such as Nevada Barr, Suzanne Brockmann, Lee Child, Catherine Coulter, Kay Hooper, Fern Michaels, Perri O'Shaughnessy, Sara Paretsky, Amanda Quick, and also includes the best- selling children's series such as Pendragon. In addition, MediaBay will offer unabridged Brilliance Audio versions of classics such as Little Women, Robinson Crusoe, Great Expectations, Dracula, and The Last of the Mohicans along with a faith-based line of fiction and nonfiction titles.

These titles will be available to the millions of MSN users to download throughout the United States via the MSN Music service (http://www.music.msn.com/) as part of MediaBay's exclusive agreement with MSN. MediaBay also plans to offer these titles on its own branded sites and will distribute the content throughout its growing network of affiliate sites that MediaBay powers.
