Kohl's Summerfest Rockstar Finalists Revealed

10 Talented Teens to Compete Live at Summerfest on July 10, 2005

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., July 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Kohl's Department Stores announced today the names of 10 Milwaukee-area teens who are finalists for Kohl's Summerfest Rockstar Project. From a pool of hundreds of talented contestants, these kids have made the cut to perform live at Summerfest's Potawatomie Stage on July 10, 2005, at noon, to compete for the grand prize of professional studio time to record a CD. A panel of local celebrities, including Susan Kim of WTMJ-TV, Goran Krajl from The Guffs, and Kevin Sucher of Rockstar Productions will judge the final audition.

Kohl's Summerfest Rockstar top 10 finalists include (listed in no particular order):

Stephanie Hansen, 14, Hartford Bryan Dorsey, 16, Cedarburg Dominic Russo, 13, Brookfield Curt Hansen, 17, Hartford Heather Fanske, 14, Muskego Krystina Andreoli, 14, Kenosha Aja Goes, 13, Kenosha Natalie Ordinans, 14, Menomonee Falls Bonnie Atkinson, 16, Samantha Rise Roberson, 17, Wauwatosa Menomonee Falls

Although these teens already sound like rock stars, they'll soon look the part, too. Kohl's is providing each finalist with a fashion makeover that will outfit the teens in the latest cool fashions from Kohl's. Sandra Keiser, professor of fashion at Mount Mary College and all-around style guru, will provide each finalist with fashion and style advice, while Paul Wiggins and staff at KWOF Salon will give the teens the latest hair styles and color. In addition, each finalist will receive a $100 gift card from Kohl's just in time for back-to-school shopping.
