Ford Motor Company Features Environmental Component for Children at the Birmingham Community House Jazzfest
WHAT: Ford Motor Company -- a proud sponsor of The Community House Jazzfest for the 10th consecutive year -- has partnered with Arts & Scraps to incorporate an environmental component for children into its display this year.
Arts & Scraps is a non-profit organization that recycles industrial scraps into inexpensive creative material. Annually, they provide educational programming for over 275,000 children and recycle 22 tons of materials. While visiting this display, children can use the industrial scraps to create a vehicle at the Auto Factory and then decorate their own hat to wear throughout the event.
