Miami Hip-Hop Summit on Financial Empowerment Aims to Raise Awareness About Personal Finance

WHAT: The Miami Hip-Hop Summit on Financial Empowerment is part of an unprecedented national campaign to raise awareness among millions of young adults about the importance of personal finance. For the first time, one of the world's leading financial institutions, Chrysler Financial, has partnered with the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN), the nation's largest non-profit hip-hop organization, to help young people build a solid financial future. Russell Simmons, Chairman of HSAN and William F. Jones, Jr., Vice President -- Chrysler Financial have pledged to work together to coordinate this national campaign under the theme "Get Your Money Right."

WHO: Dr. Benjamin Chavis (Chairman and President/CEO of the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network, respectively), Stephen Starks (Director - Southeast Business Center for Chrysler Financial), personal finance guru Suze Orman, Bruce Shead (Manager, Geographic Marketing and Community Outreach for Anheuser-Busch), Damon Dash (Dash Music Group), artists Memphis Bleek, Young Gunz, Joe Budden, Juelz Santana, Trina, Doug E.
