Brian Roberts Celebrates One Year Anniversary with ABC Owned Station as Host of Washington D.C.'s Only Hour Long Business Program

VIENNA, Va., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Brian D. Roberts, CEO of Croix Connect, a provider of information technology solutions and management consulting services, based in Vienna, VA has started his second year as host of "Taking Care of Business with Brian Roberts." The program which airs on ABC owned 630 WMAL is the only hour long radio program in the Washington D.C. area which focuses solely on business issues.

A former United States Air Force officer, with assignments at the White House Communications Agency and the Pentagon, Roberts has extensive experience not only with large organizations but also small entrepreneurial businesses. Says Roberts, "my experience has enabled me to have a unique perspective on how business functions, where their focus should be and how to get them there. 'Taking Care of Business with Brian Roberts' is an opportunity to share with the listening audience how other businesses operate and how they got to where they are. I believe there is a commonality to business success regardless of the nature of the business."

"Taking Care of Business with Brian Roberts" began in June 2004. The primary purpose of the show is twofold: to showcase executives and their companies and to provide the listening audience with information and innovative approaches to running a successful business. Says Roberts, "In the first year of the program, we interviewed persons from the public, private and government sectors, including U.S. Representative Tom Davis and Virginia State Senator Jeannemarie Devolites-Davis, Executive Vice President John Schanz of AOL, the CEO of government contractor GTSI, Dendy Young, and Robert Peck, the President of the Greater Washington Board of Trade. My audience and I have been fortunate to have such great guests providing knowledge and expertise to help the executive stay on top of issues affecting businesses today."

The show has a relaxed interview format, and other segments provide strategic and tactical ideas to help executives grow their businesses. Shortly after the show airs, the audio file is placed on the Croix Connect website at http://www.croixconnect.com/ and all past shows may be downloaded from there.

Roberts graduated from the United States Air Force Officer Training School and received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is a founding member of the IT Service Management Forum's National Capital Region, and a member of the Armed Forces Communication and Engineering Association. He is also on the board of Catholic Charities of the Arlington Diocese, and is active with many charities including the Vienna Knights of Columbus Council and the Rotary Club of Tysons Corner.

"Taking Care of Business with Brian Roberts" airs on Sundays at 3:00 P.M. on 630 WMAL.
