Download Music From Radio Over the Phone With Your Voice
PALM SPRINGS, Calif., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Music on Command has a new tweak to downloading from the radio ... it's just using your voice and a phone call when you hear the song played over radio waves.
Now Music on Command has just signed MSN Music and Yahoo! Music.
Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems, Baxter Technologies, Inc. and developers from the L7 Inc Concept SDN. BHD. management team have joined public data services to offer music downloading for the radio listener.
Radio listeners have the ability, through a new system called Music on Command, as they're in their car, office or home, to dial an 800 number when they hear a song and download that song as it's played on the radio.
Baxter Technologies, Inc.'s designer and developer Jack Baxter and L7 Inc Concept's Lukas Butz, the Managing Director of USA Development from Malaysia, have developed new software to capture songs over the radio waves, compress them through the Nielsen monitoring system and deliver the song to the listener at the time it's playing on the radio.
Baxter and Butz have developed a user-friendly system that does not require users to be in front of a computer to order music. Baxter's vision is: when you hear it and you like it and want it, you should be able to download it - and so he developed software in conjunction with Nielsen Broadcasting and L7 Inc Concept to enable the listener to download music, talk shows or newscasts of their choice at any time they hear it.
Music on Command is free to the public for demos at http://www.musiconcommand.com/.
The system is presently featuring Yahoo! Music, MSN Music and Buy.com music stores for the beta site, and there's more to come for Music on Command users.
Once the user has chosen a song to purchase, they can choose to download it to their email address - and soon to come, to their mobile phones - from any of Music on Command's online stores.
In the future, Music on Command will partner with the music stores to bring radio listeners the songs that they wish to download at the time they hear it at a much reduced price than any other online network at the present time.
Consumers are free to sign up at http://www.musiconcommand.com/ to get their music from Yahoo! Music, MSN Music or Buy.com as they hear it on the radio.
