Showtime and GoldPocket Extend 'The L Word' to Wireless Users
Showtime launches a cross-carrier Premium SMS for their hit show 'The L Word'
LOS ANGELES, April 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Are you extroverted or introverted? Compassionate or vindictive? Patient or impatient? Beginning this week, fans of the critically-acclaimed SHOWTIME series The L Word(R) will be able to use their mobile phones to find out which of the show's characters their personality most resembles by answering questions such as these. The personality profiling game costs $.99, and comes with a month's worth of additional exclusive daily content for The L Word sent directly to registrants' mobile phones. The campaign is being enabled by GoldPocket Wireless and their EM Connect platform and will run until mid-May.

To register for exclusive content for The L Word, mobile phone users need only send the keyword PLAY to short code 74699. A double opt-in process ensures that each participant confirm s/he wants to spend the $.99 to register, and explains exactly what the user should expect upon confirming.
