AB Groupe Selects Front Porch Digital for Its Digital Video Archive Implementation

AB Groupe Expands DIVArchive References in France to 15 Sites

BOULDER, Colo., April 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Incentra Solutions, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: ICEN) today announced that its Front Porch Digital (FPD) Broadcast & Media Division was selected by AB Groupe, a leading provider of thematic channels for the digital pay-TV market in France, to implement Front Porch's DIVArchive software systems in its new digital video archive.

AB Groupe operates a total of 20 channels, including RTL9, AB1 (fiction and series), AB Moteurs (motorized vehicles), Escales (travel), RFM-TV (popular music) and XXL (adult). The Group's portfolio of channels also includes Terra-Nova Television, which is distributed via analogue cable and DTT (Digital Terrestrial Television) in Germany, and AB3 & AB4 which are distributed in Belgium via cable. AB Groupe also produces and distributes television programming which it sells to broadcasters in France and internationally. In addition, AB Groupe now operates NT1, one of the new DTT French channels.

The DIVArchive solution will be integrated to a server-based infrastructure from Thomson Grass Valley and will be installed at the network's national facility in Paris, therefore streamlining the handling of all program and commercial materials. This new installation marks the 15th Front Porch customer in France, which represents 68 percent share of installed digital video archives within the French broadcast market.
