Delticom Releases Informational Film

HANOVER, Germany, April 6/PRNewswire/ -- In keeping with its motto of "More openness," Delticom has just released its first informational film about the company and its products and services. This highly successful internet tyre dealer has quickly emerged as the European leader in the online tyre market.

"For many people, selling tyres on the internet is a strange idea and hence requires some explanation," notes Delticom co-CEO Andreas Prüfer, who was also co-originator of the idea to make the movie. "We made this film to show how easily and quickly it is to purchase tyres online and have them delivered directly to your home," comments the other Deltacom CEO and co-originator of the film, Rainer Binder.

The film shows exactly how the online ordering process works. In addition to the informational part of the film, 30 minutes of footage are also available. The film was produced by Ballentin Video of Wiesbaden, Germany.

Many motorists in Europe and elsewhere around the world are already satisfied Delticom customers and the company's 40 online stores in 22 countries have performed exceedingly well to date.

In 1999, the year of the company's founding, Delticom sold one million euros worth of tyres. In 2001, the company tripled its sales again to 21 million euros. Turnover was 80 million euros last year and Delticom expects to register sales of 100 million euros this year.
