Mega Millions Ticket Wins Estimated $130 Million Jackpot; Winning Ticket Sold in Washington, Georgia MEGA MILLIONS, Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- One ticket matched all six Mega Millions numbers in the Tuesday, January 18, 2005 drawing, and now players are checking their tickets to see who won the estimated $130 million jackpot. The jackpot-winning ticket, which was purchased in Washington, Georgia, matched the numbers 10-23-28-39-51 and the Mega Ball number 05. Nearly 900,000 tickets won prizes ranging from $2 all the way up to the jackpot. That includes 23 tickets that came within just one number of hitting the jackpot. They matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number to each win $175,000. Those tickets were sold in Georgia (2), Illinois (2), Michigan (1), New Jersey (3), New York (3), Ohio (2) and Washington (10).
