Corporate College(R) Sponsors Workshop and Book Signing for 'Crucial Confrontations' by Ron McMillan HIGHLAND HILLS, Ohio, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Corporate College, Cuyahoga Community College's latest lifelong learning and training initiative, is sponsoring a workshop and book signing on Thursday, December 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Eastern Campus of Tri-C, located at 4250 Richmond Road in Highland Hills. Ron McMillan, the featured speaker, is co-founder of the Covey Leadership Center and a Vice President of Consulting Services for VitalSmarts. He will be presenting effective ways on how to manage conflict in the workplace as documented in a new book he co-authored, Crucial Confrontations. It is a follow-up to his previous book, Crucial Conversations, which was on the New York Times Best Seller List. "Behind the problems that routinely plague organizations and businesses, you will find individuals who are either unwilling or unable to deal with failed promises. The information presented in this workshop is designed to teach you how to deal with unmet expectations in a way that solves the problem at hand and doesn't harm the relationship -- and in fact, even strengthens it," says Jean Appleby, Executive Director of the Workforce and Economic Development Division of Cuyahoga Community College.
