CBS 3, UPN 57, KYW Newsradio, 94WYSP Launch 16th Annual `Joy of Sharing' Toy Drive Rudolph, Jason George to Support Campaign With PSAs PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- CBS 3, UPN 57 and their Infinity Radio sister stations, KYW Newsradio and 94WYSP, will kick-off their 16th annual Joy of Sharing toy drive on Monday, November 22nd. The campaign, the longest-running toy drive of its kind in the market, begins Monday, November 22nd and continues through Wednesday, December 22nd. "Eyewitness News" Anchors Larry Mendte, Alycia Lane, Meteorologist Kathy Orr and Sports Director Beasley Reece are teaming up in public service announcements airing on the two TV stations to solicit new, unwrapped toys for local children in time for the holiday season. WYSP's Couzin Ed and Newsradio's Carol MacKenzie will do the same on the radio side. More than 50,000 children received toys courtesy of the Joy of Sharing campaign last year. In addition to support from 94WYSP and KYW Newsradio, CBS 3 will get a helping hand this year from Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer and Philadelphia's own Jason George of the hit UPN show "Eve," both of whom recorded PSAs for the campaign. (Rudolph, the longest running holiday special in TV history, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this holiday season.) The cast of the Pennsylvania Ballet's "Nutcracker" will also support the effort through collections and public appearances.
