The books will be shipped Monday, Nov. 22, to servicemen and women stationed around the globe. In celebration of National Book Month in October, AuthorHouse encouraged its authors to donate copies of their books. Overwhelming response prompted AuthorHouse to extend the deadline for book submissions. More than 75 AuthorHouse writers and members of the public donated new and used books to entertain U.S. troops. Both nonfiction works and novels in a variety of genres will reach courageous men and women who are spending the holidays away from home this year. Books will be shipped via freight to Virginia, where the USO will disperse the titles to various locations around the world, including Iraq.
