Award-Winning "Displacement" Premieres in Hollywood Film Fest
Stars Academy Award Nominee Bruce Davison and fellow Golden Globe Winner Susan Blakely
HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Feb. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Academy Award Nominee and Golden Globe winning actor Bruce Davison stars opposite fellow Golden Globe winner Susan Blakely in award-winning writer-director Kenneth Mader's time-travel-thriller, "Displacement," an independent feature also starring Sarah Douglas ("Superman" 1 & 2), Christopher Backus ("Underground") and Courtney Hope ("The Divergent Series: Allegiant", "Prowl"). Davison and Blakely last appeared together in the critically acclaimed film, "Hate Crime."
"Displacement" will have its West Coast Premiere in the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival this Friday, Feb 19(th), 9:30pm at Regal Cinemas LA Live. It recently won Best Science Fiction Film and Best Supporting Actor for Mr. Davison in that fest, and had its East Coast Premiere in the Boston Science Fiction Festival on Feb. 7(th). Mader, who also wrote and produced the film, was recently named one of the "Top 100 Indie Filmmakers in the World" in the book by Action On Film's Del Weston. He will be in attendance with producer Zander Villayne, Mr. Davison, Ms. Douglas and Ms. Hope.
