High Praise, Huge Reach for Debut Film

'Getting Back to Zero' Brings the Star Power of Wayne Newton and Boyz II Men's Shawn Stockman to a Winning Story About the Underworld of Gambling

LOS ANGELES, May 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Waterline Pictures announces the release of 'Getting Back to Zero' the company's second feature film. Two premiere dates, May 3, 2013 and August 1, 2013 will make the title available to 100 million households in North America through Video On Demand and iTunes.

'Getting Back to Zero' is both dark comedy and drama, about two brothers and a desperate roll of the dice. When Derek and Charlie's dad die they inherit his 3.5 million dollar gambling debt and only have three days to pay it back. Instead of going to Vegas to beat the house, they stay in LA and become the house.

The film features Wayne Newton, the Las Vegas legend, Shawn Stockman of Boyz ll Men, Alexis Arquette, William Atherton, Ric Young and stars Nathan Anderson and Nathan Wetherington.

"I could not walk away from this script," says Newton. "There are some complex roles here... It's always interesting when I get the chance to play a character that is not myself in a story as compelling as this one."
