Stereo D Names Mike Gunter Chief Operating Officer



BURBANK, Calif., May 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Stereo D, the recognized leader in high-quality 2D to 3D conversions of theatrical content has named Mike Gunter as Chief Operating Officer, it was announced to today by Stereo D President William Sherak. Stereo D is a subsidiary of Deluxe Entertainment Services Group Inc.

In his role, Gunter will oversee the operating and administrative functions of Stereo D, including Finance, Business Affairs, M&A, Human Resources, and management of the company's facilities in Burbank, California and Pune, India. Additionally, Gunter will share oversight of Stereo D's IT operations with EVP and Chief Creative Officer Aaron Parry. He will report directly to Sherak.

Prior to joining Stereo D, Gunter served as CFO and EVP Finance for Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, Inc. and led the acquisition of the Stereo D business assets by Deluxe in May, 2011. Gunter previously served as CFO for Deluxe's Film Laboratories. He began his career at KPMG in London. He holds a BS in Economics from the London School of Economics and an MBA from USC's Marshall School of Business.

Recently, Stereo D collaborated with Marvel on the conversion of the worldwide blockbuster THE AVENGERS, from director Joss Whedon. Prior to that, director James Cameron and producer Jon Landau chose Stereo D to create the conversion of TITANIC in 3D. The new version of the film has received worldwide critical acclaim and has been a huge commercial success.
