SAN ANTONIO, May 17, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --KVDA Telemundo San Antonio, a ZGS Communications operated station, announced today that it is launching a revamped local newscast beginning Monday, May 21st at 5 p.m. from its new, state-of-the-art studio in the heart of San Antonio. Both newscasts will be anchored by Esmeralda Medellin whose media career has spanned over 20 years and began in San Antonio. She has held reporter and anchor positions in Dallas and Chicago for both Univision and Telemundo. The experienced news team includes Jaime Becerril with Sports, Lilian Perez with Weather and Entertainment, and reporters: Ciro Villarreal, Mayde Gomez, Gerardo Moreno, and Geraldine Ortega.
