World Championship Full Contact Last Man Standing Tournament to Be Broadcast on Pay-Per-View

CORONA DEL MAR, Calif., Jan. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ActionView International, Inc. (OTC: AVEW) today announced that its World Championship Full Contact (WCFC) Last Man Standing tournament scheduled for January 20, 2012 at the UCCU Center in Orem, Utah will be broadcast live via the Internet on a pay-per-view basis. The PPV purchase price is $14.95 and will feature two simultaneous 8-man tournaments in both the welterweight (170 pound) and heavyweight classes. WCFC has signed an agreement with NeuLion, Inc. to provide advertising and marketing support for the PPV broadcast.

Joe Wooten, Chief Executive Officer of ActionView, discussed the Company's return to a PPV model, "The WCFC has always had as its focus the objective to reach the broadest possible market through Internet broadcasting of our live events. While several of our events have been broadcast live, and we have experienced limited success with a PPV model, our partnership with NeuLion provides a much broader marketing base, offering the potential to reach millions of potential viewers through their pre-event marketing efforts. Being able to monetize our broadcast with both PPV revenues and ad sales while reaching a broad international base is a significant step forward for the WCFC brand. The Last Man Standing tournament series has generated such overwhelming support from fans and fighters, with great viewership numbers from the last event, that we feel the January 20th tournament is the perfect event to return to a PPV model."

The January 20th WCFC tournament will feature former Ultimate Fighter contestants Brandon Melendez and Kyacey Uscola, together with Utah fighters Mike Arrant and James Birdsley and some very talented new fighters who deserve a shot at being crowned "Last Man Standing" tournament winner. The heavyweight tournament will showcase 6'8" 265 pound phenom Jack May and UFC alum Fabiano Scherner, along with Utah fighter Ty Lee. A complete fight card can be found at www.WCFC.com. Utah hip hop sensation, The Commission, will open the show and debut their WCFC-inspired song "Last Man Standing."

Tickets are available at the UCCU box office, at SmithTix, and at www.WCFC.com. Pre-sale general admission tickets are two-for-$20. In another Utah first, the WCFC is offering a special for high school students who can purchase general admission tickets for just $5. Mr. Wooten stated, "Some of the most passionate MMA fans are high school kids. Now, for less than the price of a movie ticket, they can grab their buddies and come see the greatest live MMA event in the history of Utah."

The UCCU Center is located on the campus of Utah Valley University at 800 W. University in Orem. Gates will open at 6:00 with the first round matches starting at 7:00.
