KTV Radio Network Launches "Korea Today" Channel on SiriusXM

24/7 channel to feature the best of Korean music, news, entertainment, sports and culture

NEW YORK, Jan. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- KTV Radio Network today announced that it will launch Korea Today -- a 24/7 channel featuring a wide variety of Korean music, news, entertainment, sports and cultural programming -- on SiriusXM.

Korea Today will officially launch on January 12 at 7:00 pm ET on XM channel 144. Beginning January 19, Korea Today will be available on SiriusXM Internet Radio channel 144 and through the SiriusXM Internet Radio App on smartphones and mobile devices.

Korea Today's lineup will feature K-Pop, American pop, classical and folk music shows; talk programming including global, local and entertainment news; sports radio; and cultural programs for Koreans throughout the U.S. The content will come from Korean programmers as well as original shows produced at Korea Today's studios in the U.S.

SiriusXM granted KTV Radio Network a lease to create one channel on the XM platform of its satellite radio system.
