Slacker to Launch Stations Highlighting Slacker Canadian Music Week, Canadian Bands and Artists
TORONTO and SAN DIEGO, Dec. 1, 2011/PRNewswire/ --Slacker, Inc. today announced that it has signed on as the exclusive title sponsor of Canadian Music Week. Canadian Music Week is a five-day entertainment event in Toronto, Ontario that includes Canada's largest new music festival, Canadian Music Fest.

Focusing on the music business, Slacker Canadian Music Week combines conferences, a trade exhibition, awards shows, a film festival, a comedy festival and Slacker Canadian Music Fest into a week-long event which takes place March 21-25, 2012. The festival features over 900 emerging artists and headlining acts from 40 countries in over 60 venues around Toronto.

A 30th anniversary Canadian Music Week station featuring the festival act highlights from over the past thirty years and a Slacker Canadian Music Week station that includes exclusive artist interviews and music from the festival lineup are also planned for launch.
