New Website Calls for Talented People Looking for a Break

Talent Discovery is a new concept that allows artists to create their perfect audition video and submit it for their lucky break - and $100,000.

DENVER, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Talent Discovery (www.talentdiscovery.com) recently launched its web site, specifically designed to uncover and reward new undiscovered talent. Taking T.V. talent shows a step further, anyone who has a video camera, a bit of talent and the wherewithal to catch their lucky break can submit their video.

Winners of each of 20 categories could win recording contracts, their own radio show, a production company internship, or the opportunity to show their work on the big screen. The grand prize winner, the most talented individual among all categories, will win $100,000 and the chance to pursue his or her dream.

Talent Discovery is the brainchild of Steve Stith, who has been involved in the media and entertainment industry for decades. After seeing amazing talent perform on the boardwalk in Venice, in the subway in New York and in user-generated videos online, Stith believed the talent of these individuals and others like them should be shared with the world. After all, discovering and nurturing new talent is the fuel to a global entertainment engine.

With 20 categories, almost anyone who has a talent and a desire can submit. There is a nominal submittal fee, but anyone can submit up to five videos in as many categories as they like.

Once people submit their video, judges with category-specific entertainment industry experience will judge each category and narrow it down to the most talented contestants. From there, America will choose the winner in each category.
