Rentrak Signs Contract With Alliance Films for On-Demand Content Measurement in Canada

PORTLAND, Ore., March 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rentrak Corporation (NASDAQ:RENT), the leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising and entertainment industries, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to provide Alliance Films with on-demand measurement services. With this agreement, Rentrak continues to build its leadership position in providing measurement services for the Canadian video-on-demand market where Rentrak has seen a 19% increase in on-demand content usage in 2009 as compared to 2008.

The company's on-demand film titles can be viewed via cable operators including Cogeco Cable, MTS, Rogers Cable, Sasktel, Shaw Cable, Telus and Videotron.
