Celebrities Attend Big Star Media Group Celebration

CLARKSDALE, Miss., March 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Big Star Media Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets: BMGI) (the "Company") a diversified entertainment and information distribution company, today announced that the Company hosted a celebration at the Ground Zero Blues Club on Sunday, March 14 in honor of their Blues Music Award nomination from the Blues Foundation.

Numerous celebrities and Company executives were on hand for the festivities in honor of Big Star Media's nomination for DVD of the Year for the film entitled "Down To The Crossroads - Volume 1". This film features George Thorogood and the Destroyers with legendary blues man Eddie Shaw. Among the celebrities in attendance were George Thorogood, The Destroyers, Eddie Shaw and Mississippi Gubernatorial Candidate Bill Luckett. Entertainment for the event was provided by the Dallas-based band, Monkey Beat that is headed up by George Thorogood's long time guitarist, Jim Suhler.
