Hard Rock International's The Sound of Your Stay Program Announces Second Music Release

Guests of Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos Can Now Choose New Songs to Download from Complimentary, Curated Playlists

ORLANDO, Fla., March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Hard Rock International is proud to announce the second music release of The Sound of Your Stay available now at all U.S. Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos. Launched in August 2009, The Sound of Your Stay is a brand-wide music program that encourages guests to download complimentary, specially selected playlists available upon check-in.

Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos guests will receive a special keyholder that is embedded with a code for The Sound of Your Stay. Guests can visit music.hardrockhotels.com to redeem one complimentary, 12-song playlist from a selection of three distinct categories entitled SUN, PLAYERS, and CITY. SUN, PLAYERS, and CITY playlists represent the vibe and genre of the three unique types of Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos properties throughout the world: resort havens, casino getaways and city retreats.

SUN was created to reflect the energy of Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos located in resort destinations such as Orlando and the upcoming Punta Cana location. SUN's arrangement is comprised of breaking artists and pop-esque, poolside music such as "The Sun Ain't Shining No More" by Asteroids Galaxy Tour and Joss Stone's "It Could Have Been You." PLAYERS has a southern, high-energy verve, mirroring the feel of Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos properties in Biloxi, Mississippi; Tampa and Hollywood, Florida and features Gretchen Wilson's song "Work Hard, Play Harder" and Smokey Robinson's "Love Bath." CITY embraces the urban, edgy mood of Hard Rock Hotels located in cities such as Chicago and San Diego, showcasing indie tunes from underground newcomers like Phoenix and Passion Pit. Each list is carefully curated by Blake Smith, Hard Rock International's Global Music and Marketing Manager in conjunction with NY-based strategic music and brand marketing company, BMF Media Group.

"I'm thrilled to be part of such an amazing program with Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos. Listening to music while traveling is essential, and being a part of The Sound of Your Stay program is such a great way to give back to my fans," exclaimed Grammy Award winner and music legend Smokey Robinson.

Smith is constantly looking for the latest breakthrough artists, top hits and old-school classics to ensure the best music experience for guests at Hard Rock properties worldwide. By rotating the music every six months, Hard Rock International promises to maintain a fresh selection for guests to explore.

"Coming off the successful phase one of this initiative, The Sound of Your Stay continues to bring great classics and new underground artists to travelers around the globe," says Smith, "We're able to constantly provide a perfectly balanced selection of songs from oldies to emerging artists, allowing Hard Rock guests access to the forefront of the music industry."

Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos are ideally situated in destinations with unique character. The properties cater to the evolving and distinctive needs of today's savvy traveler, who seeks a reprieve from traditional, predictable properties. Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos offer stylish contemporary design, superior service and the distinctive threads that unite all Hard Rock properties - music and philanthropy.

The Sound of Your Stay program, launched in August 2009, features the music of edgy up-and-comers, current hits and old-school classics compiled into themed playlists, each characterized by the various vibes and genres of Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos globally. The music included in Volume 1 featured artists and tracks such as Empire Of The Sun "Walking On A Dream" within the CITY playlist, Plain White T's "Sunlight" reflecting the SUN playlist and James Brown "Gut Bucket" for the PLAYERS list. The Sound of Your Stay Volume 2 is currently available for guests staying at all Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos properties, allowing returning visitors to download new music, great classics, and current hits again - compliments of Hard Rock International.
